some of the expansion films turned out to be “contraction-like”. dunno why. gordon particularly liked the paper roll while jens n alex prefered the dress. all credits go to chunyi and suri for inviting me along go shooting around melb together n helping me develop them. would never have survived the semester w/o them ![]()
happy holidays all! keep shooting n posting!!!!!!!

Hi there. Love your stuff. Do you usually just take the pictures in BW or do you take them in color and alter. I’ve done both and find flaws in both. Would love a recommendation.

Those are all such strong photographs. The middle four could also work in the same project. I really love the pic of the rolled paper so.

i think my fav would be 8 or 10… 8 cos i think the lights behind the tree contrast it very well and is very atmospheric, and 10 cos the refraction/change is scale is quirky
did you put your cam in the water for that??

ah!! finally a familiar face!!
number 8 (the tree) i did alot of sharpenning there. i was very happy to see the vignetting cos i thought it looked cool!
the duck shot – i dived down and drowned my nikon f100. NOT. i aint that expert yet, nor got the tools for it. it was this trip to melb zoo with the asian gang. there was this glass display of forest-like habitat with the pond’s water level as high as my eyes’. this duck was happily swimming (flirting) in my face and i had to do something. if only i had a gun with me instead of camera. haha. i got 3 frames in the end and i thought the above has most interesting legs’ position. u could almost see the reflection of a guy holding newspaper on bottom right of the frame and something else on top left.
