I love black and white. Your photos are gorgeous. Here’s my contribution. Thanks for letting me put it up. The subject is different from your pics but I’m a sucker for cute kids.
nice shots. mmm…. i like mist/fog/smoke/fuzzy stuff in the air. i think it suits the wasteland location. the second one is very well handled technically but i’m personally a little wary of train track shots. put the one up that you put in for the ilford award. only saw it briefly – thought it was beautiful.
Ever since I got my Nikon D60 I have not felt compelled to use Black and White. We my old point and shoot, there were sometimes when a photo just needed balck and white, but I haven’t had that feeling yet to do it. What’s your criteria for the perfect b&w photo?
