This is a portrait of my great grandmother, Nanna May. Its for my conceptual series which is about Age. Nanna May turned 100 years old in June 2008 and lives in Lyndoch Nursing Home Warrnambool. She still plays cards every wednesday, cooks all her own meals and enjoys a drink of brandy on friday afternoons. I took some photos of her with her letter from the queen but i have not got the roll of film developed yet. Whilst taking the portrait she informed me about her love for murder mystery novels and her deep hate for romantic fiction.
thought she deserved to be put on the blog just for being 100! heheh

That’s a nice shot, I like the muted colours. What else have you got planned for the series?
I thought I just had to reply because my grandpa (on my mum’s side) is actually in the same nursing home :p.
